Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 2.0.6 Synopsis: gnome-panel crashes everytime I start X Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: clock applet BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: Everytime X is started, a fatal error window appears reporting a gnome-panel crash. Repeatedly canceling this window will rescue you, but you will see no task bar. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. run ddd 2. run gedit 3. make task bar vertical and put it on the right hand side of the screen Actual Results: Next time you bring up X, it will crash and a fatal error window will appear. Closing that window several times will eventually rescue you but you will see no task bar. Expected Results: How often does this happen? Every time I start X Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 751)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
