Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 2.0.6 Synopsis: gnome-panel crash reports as "fatal error" when desktop task bar displays Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: After login when desktop appears, the task bar is displayed along with the modal dialog box reporting the following "Application "gnome-panel" (process 925) has crashed due to a fatal error. (Aborted)". Closing the box causes the task bar to be removed and the desktop to be reset. When this happens the error persists. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Save settings on logout. 2. Login. 3. Actual Results: Expected Results: How often does this happen? Additional Information: There were several Terminal sessions running when the original logout occured along with an instance of "Opera". Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 925)] 0x40972789 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
