GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 106784
vertical panel crash in Redhat 8.0
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 2.0.6 Synopsis: Well, I am using a dell-xps-r350 and I recently installed linux redhat 8.0 pro. After I had used the desktop a few times I moved the panel from the bottom to the left side. I then, in the same desktop session, tried to open and folder and it said nautilus crash. I restarted and logged in again and it said "Error: Application "gnome-panel" (process 1401) has crashed due to a fatal error. (Aborted)." It also allows you to submit a bug report or close the window. If you try to close the window the window closes and the gnome-panel goes away, the gnome-panel then reappears and the error message comes back up but this time saying a different (process number). ? thanks Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. 2. 3.
