Description tripp+bugs-gnome 2003-02-20 06:10:40 UTC
Package: gnome-terminal
Severity: normal
Version: 2.0.1
Synopsis: scrolling gnome-terminal down from top crashes
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal
Bugzilla-Component: general
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3)

Description:
Description of Problem:

I accidentally grabbed the top of the gnome-terminal window in 'resize'
mode (grabbed the top of the titlebar) and started resizing it down.
After I zipped up and down a few times, with it resizing properly, it
crashed.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. See above
2.
3.

Actual Results:

boom.

Expected Results:

not so much with the boom.

How often does this happen?

first time for me. you?

Additional Information:

Red Hat 8.0 Personal, bluecurve, default install. Running ssh (OpenSSH
3.x) to another machine and pine in that ssh session at the time of crash.

Three "tabs" open in that particular terminal window, and one other
terminal window open (with transparency on in the "other" window, not in
the crash-ey window).
