I am running RedHat Linux 8.0. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: Expected Results: I expected more information about where the crash occured. How often does this happen? First time ever. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-terminal' (no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 1133)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6

Does this happen if you create two terminals in quick succession, for example click the terminal launcher twice quickly? If so it's probably fixed in gnome-terminal 2.2.1
The problem only occurs when I start X, and fire off many apps simultaneously. It does not happen when I start several by hand. Thank you (hp@redhat.com) for the information! David dhelrod@rivendell.com
