I was trying to eneter a bi-weekly deposit in the schedules transaction
window, and it just hung. This is with gnucash-1.8.1-1.RH8.0 rpm just
installed.

I also have the error when trying to edit scheduled transactions.  I
can edit and create the schedule but if on a weekly or bi-weekly
schedule try to adjust the recurrance frequency from every 2 weeks to
every 4 in hangs.  Every Time it happens I get the following:
** CRITICAL **: file gnc-component-manager.c: line 271
(gnc_cm_event_handler): assertion `id_type' failed.

And, sometimes get the following when trying to adjust the start and
finish date and it hangs:
GLib-CRITICAL **: file gdate.c: line 210 (g_date_update_dmy):
assertion `g_date_valid_julian (d->julian_days)' failed.

I am running GnuCash 1.8.4 on SuSE 8.2 Pro.
