GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 106174
"Persian" entry needed in GDM language table
Last modified: 2003-05-15 20:53:13 UTC
There are now some translations for "Persian" in GNOME (language code "fa", locale "fa_IR"). It should probably have a corresponding language entry in the gdm greeter.
roozbeh@sharif.edu, could you attach the language name "Persian" translated into Persian (as a UTF-8-encoded attachment to this report). That information is probably needed.

Christian, May I apply this to the HEAD branch myself? This can be considered translators area, I guess.
String freeze applies -- gdm hasn't been branched yet. release-team@gnome.org should be asked first, and gnome-i18n@gnome.org notified of the change once it has been committed to cvs. We've already asked the release team and are awaiting the reply.
already fixed in cvs
