Description Gianluca Sartori 2003-02-15 08:39:10 UTC
Package: control-center
Severity: normal
Version: 2.2
Synopsis: Missing "No proxy for:" option in Proxy settings
Bugzilla-Product: control-center
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
Description of Problem:
Missing "No proxy for:" option in Proxy settings

Additional Information:
Assuming you must use a proxy to access the internet (no direct
connection):

It's useful when you have a local web server configured with multiple
virtualhosts binded to an IP address different from 127.0.0.1. To make
them work you have to switch from "direct connection" (in which case
you
cannot access the internet). It's a problem when you have to work on
the
local site and surf the web for other reasons.
