gnome-terminal crash

Steps to reproduce the problem: (not easy to reproduce)
1. run gnome terminal
2. ssh to somewhere and run less
3. resize the window until gnome-terminal crashes

Actual Results:
crashed terminal (all windows)

Expected Results:
window resizes without crashing

How often does this happen?
about once a day when sshing to another machine (i believe its a fairly
high latency link, so maybe timing/race problems?)
