Description Brian Battistuz 2003-01-28 19:32:28 UTC
I keep getting this message everytime I log in and then the gnome-panel quits:

Application "gnome-panel" (process 21488) has crashed
due to a fatal error.
(Aborted)

Calling gnome-panel from the terminal yeilds the same response but a
different message:

system-tray-applet-ERROR **: file obox.c: line 107 (get_class): should not
be reached
aborting...

Well, the obox.c reminds me of bug 94625, the infamous vertical panel
crasher bug. But it's hard to tell without a stack trace. Can you
get us one (see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/getting-traces.cgi for
information on how to do this)?

Yep, it's a dup of bug 94625. Havoc commented that there were some
fixed packages available and where to get them somewhere in that bug
report.
