When printing invoice, user must each time select/delselect column 
display, tax options, style sheet etc.  Would be real nice if these 
settings could be saved.

This is a general "report" infrastructure issue, not specific to the
"print-invoice" report.  I've reassigned the bug there and changed the
summary to be more appropriate.

I should mention that the "workaround" is to never "close" the
inpvoice report -- leave it open and then just change the "invoice"
that you are printing via the report-options page.

To make some suggestions regarding this code:

 (1) The ability to "save" report options as described above.

 (2) The ability for one report to build, set, and save the
     options for another report.

#2 would allow, say, a General Ledger report to be createed
by spawning a Transaction Report with appropriate options.

Note: Since version 1.8.10, it is possible to save a report configuration and
have it appear as a menu item (in reports->Customized reports). 

Therefore this bug is being closed.
