Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-terminal Severity: normal Version: 2.0.1 Synopsis: Resizing window crashes with remote pine session Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: gnome-terminal crashes with an error message and link to the automatic bug reporting system whenever I resize the window vertically while ssh'd into a remote server and running pine. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. fire up a gnome-terminal 2. ssh into a remote server 3. run pine to read mail 4. resize the window down by dragging on the bottom edge 5. gnome-terminal crashes! Actual Results: Error window pops up saying gnome-terminal crashed and suggesting that I report the bug. Expected Results: It should resize the window and carry on its merry way How often does this happen? Every time. I have not experimented much, so some of the steps above may not be necessary to tickle the crash. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-terminal' (no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 4967)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
