Hi,

  the SDL plugin only shows colored lines. This happens with every pipeline
  i use it in. Reproducable with for example:
    gst-launch videotestsrc fourcc=YV12  ! sdlvideosink

  I got this problem with gstreamer 0.5.0 debian packages and build of 0.5.1
  as  part of garnome. I've tested this on a dual PIII with a matrox G450 
  video card and a pentium 233MMX with a Chips and Technologies video card.  
  Other applications using sdl work fine

I've reproduced it - it's a bug in SDL of some sort. Don't know any
details, but it's definately not a plugin bug.
