After removing the RHN Alert Notification Tool applet from the taskbar,I
attempted to start the Redhat Network application by doing the following:

Main Menu Icon-> System Tools-> Redhat Network

Gnome-panel segfaulted when I clicked on Redhat Network, with an error 1522.
