GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 102423
confusing message: 'forgetting'
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
#: src/terminal-profile.c:2385 #, c-format msgid "There was an error forgetting profile dir %s. (%s)\n" Is this meant to read 'for getting'? If the verb 'forgetting' is used intentionally then I suggest using clearer wording in a next release.
This could simply be changed into "There was an error while removing the GConf directory %s", as that is the problem that causes this message.
I'd say "configuration directory" or something instead of "gconf directory", otherwise sounds good. It's probably sort of overkill to have error messages for all the gconf stuff, but not worth removing all the error handling since I wrote it already I guess. ;-)
done.
