[ui-review] Edit menu usability
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
From the ui-review: Edit menu - What's the usefulness of 'Insert User Name'? - s/Insert Date\/Time/Insert Date and Time... - dialog title is wrong - Insert button doesn't theme - <auspex> remove radio buttons. Put an item in the list 'custom'. Put an entry for the custom format somewhere and leave it insensitive unless Custom is selected from the list. - s/Preferences.../Preferences - Indent/Unindent don't theme properly
- s/Insert Date\/Time/Insert Date and Time... -> DONE - dialog title is wrong -> DONE - s/Preferences.../Preferences -> DONE ========== - Insert button doesn't theme -> Probably a libbonoboui problem - Indent/Unindent don't theme properly -> Probably a libbonoboui problem ========== - <auspex> remove radio buttons. Put an item in the list 'custom'. Put an entry for the custom format somewhere and leave it insensitive unless Custom is selected from the list. -> WONTFIX
These issues seem to be resolved in the latest release, I agree with Paolo on his latest comment. What's the usefulness of 'Insert Username'? I'm not sure, but as long as it remains a plugin that isn't turned on by default I won't go there. ;-) Closing as fixed.
Inser Username is the example plugin, i.e. it should show how to write a gedit plugin.
