GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 100726
gedit does not print Bengali (an Indic language) properly
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Description of Problem: If I use an OpenType Bengali font to write text it shows properly in gedit. However, if I try to print it, it does not print thet text properly. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Type some text using a Bengali OpenType font 2. Print [to a ps file] Actual Results: The Bengali part does not show up when printed Expected Results: See the Bengali text!! How often does this happen? Always Additional Information: This is also a libgnomeprint issue. However, seems like gedit does not pass the proper font information to libgnomeprint.
Taneem: could you please provide a patch?
Moving since the printing code is now in gtksourceview
