Description Matt Carter 2002-11-20 21:37:22 UTC
Description of Problem:
After I moved the panel from the bottom to the
left-hand side of my desktop and added the System
Monitor to it, for no reason when ever I log out
and then log back in, the panel crashes thus
having to manually get to everything.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Moved panel to left-hand side of screen
2. Added System Monitor to panel
3. Log out / Log back in

Actual Results:
Panel seems to actully load but then after it is
all of the way displayed it crashes with
"Application "gnome-panel" (process xx) has
crashed due to a fatal error. (Aborted)"

Expected Results:
That it should load up and work properly

How often does this happen?
Everytime I login to any account where the panel
is on the left-hand side with a system monitor in it.

Additional Information:
None

Matt: I'm guessing you're using Red Hat 8. If this is not the case,
please reopen.
