Description of Problem:
Sometimes when resizing a gnome-terminal window, the terminal crashes.
It seems to happen when using apps like pine or mutt. Don't know why
though.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Login to a remote server via ssh
2. Open up a mutt-session
3. Increase the size of the window

Actual Results:
Crash

Expected Results:
Window should resize

How often does this happen?
Always when viewing a mailbox-listing in mutt or pine.

Additional Information:
stock Red Hat 8.0 gnome-installation with NVIDIA-drivers.
