Description Jerry Williams 2002-10-31 15:03:03 UTC
I received this error message.

Application "gnome-panel" (process 1036) has crashed
due to a fatal error.
(Aborted)

When the error box is closed, it continues to restart the panel and the
error box returns. Prior to the error, the system hung on startup and
required a restart. It then started but the mouse action was eratic and the
panel was moved to the side. Also it open a couple of windows (I don't
remember what they were) and then hung again. On the second restart things
appeared normal except the panel was still at the side and the error
message appeared. It seems to be caught in a loop.
