Package: gnome-core Severity: blocker Version: 2.0.6 Synopsis: The panel keeps crashing and restarting Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core Bugzilla-Component: panel BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: The gnome panel starts(looks ok), then it crashes system-tray-applet-ERROR **: file obox.c: line 107 (get_class): should not be reached aborting.. This get printed in the virtual console where I wrote startx Then the panel restarts and we're ready to go again. My system is usable in X only by opening a terminal and typing in commands from there. So much for the great new GUI =/ Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. startx 2. 3. Actual Results: No usable panel Expected Results: Usable panel =) How often does this happen? Everytime I start x Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 3036)] 0x40978789 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
