GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 95934
Pan's Applications menu item does not follow guidelines
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Pan's Applications menu item does not follow the GNOME guidelines for menu item names. For GNOME 2.x the menu items should tell what the program does instead of just telling the name of the program. See http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/draft_hig/desktop-integration.html#menu-item-names for more on this. In Pan's case the menu item should be something like "Pan Newsreader" with "Browse the newsgroups" (?) in the tooltip.
