Description of Problem:
while the icon of a launcher on desktop modified by outside program
(like gimp),
new another launcher will cause the program crash

The same issue applied to gnome-panel!!!!!

So it is maybe the problem of gnome-vfs?? because gnome-panel complains
cann't find application:///... desktop, so I guess this make the
gconf.xml file a mess, 

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. creat a launcher with customed icon
2. change the icon image using gimp (resize for example)
3. creat  anoth launcher
