Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 2.0.6 Synopsis: Changing gnome-panel position crashes gnome-panel in next login Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: If gnome-panel position is changed (I've tested moving it to the left and right sides of screen), gnome-panel crashes in next login. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Log in RedHat 8.0 GNOME 2. Change panel position in Panel Properties to either left or right 3. Log out saving the current setup and log in to GNOME again Actual Results: gnome-panel crashes Expected Results: gnome-panel position changes How often does this happen? every time panel position is changed and user logs out and back in Additional Information: Fresh installation of RedHat 8.0 Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 9627)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
