Description Shane O'Connor 2002-09-24 15:11:47 UTC
Working off Sun's beta2 build9 (cvs 19th Sept) on Solaris 9.

I tried to edit the Accessories menu via "applications:///" in nautilus but
this was not reflected in nautilus - the change was applied to the panel.
Then I was not able to rename Accessories back to its original (see steps
to recreate) via nautilus and I had to do it via right-click on gnome-panel
(and select properties for entire menu.

To Recteate
------------
1) Start nautilus and go to Applciations:///
2) Rename Accessories folder to Test
=> the folder name does not change in nautilus BUT does change on panel
3) Try to rename Accessories back from Test
=> the folder name stays as Accessories in nautilus and does not rename in
gnome-panel
4) Rename via the gnome-panel - right click on
"Applications:Test:Calculator" and select "Entire Menu:Properties".

Shane: I've just tried this out with and without FAM monitoring and it
works fine. Could you re-open if you still have the problem?
