Description bcphelps 2002-09-23 01:30:26 UTC
Package: gnome-vfs
Severity: normal
Version: 1.4.0.4
Synopsis: Nautilus crashes
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-vfs
Bugzilla-Component: Other

Description:
Whenever I attempt to start Nautilus it will not start. There is an error message if I try to start it out of the shell which indicates file gnome-vfs-uri.c has a segmentation error. Whenever I try to reinstall nautilus using rpm I cannot uninstall it first because of a dependency with nautilus-mozilla; whenever I try to reinstall nautilus-mozilla first I get an error message because of a dependency with nautilus.

It worked fine in the Gnome desktop until something happened and it stopped coming up automatically.

Should be fixed in a later release of gnome-libs and gnome-core.
