I can't find a way for nautilus's view as music view to work with oggs. I'm
guessing it doesn't support it yet and that you don't really want to hear
about this since you're moving to the gstreamer framework but, just in case
the gstreamer stuff isn't ready for 2.2, it would be nice to have ogg support .

music view doesn't support oggs. Jorn has patches to move it to using
gstreamer, and hence it'll get support for oggs and pretty much every
other format. this is all dependent on the addition of gstreamer to
the gnome development platform etc.

Currently the code is way too mp3 specific and i don't think anyone is
going to spend the time adding ogg support directly.
