Description Brian Dolbec 2002-08-18 20:17:46 UTC
If you try to edit your menus, Go >Start Here > Applications: nautilus
behaves a little unpredictably. It mostly seems to make things worse .
Sometimes deleting folders & launchers after clicking ok to close the
edit/add launcher, sometimes changes show on the desktop but not in
nautilus untill you quit & restart nautilus. Trying to rename something
doesn't. This occurs on both my machines, one recently updated (sawfish),
the other is a new install this weekend (metacity).

also, the gnome search tool is missing the /var/spool/locate/locatedb file
and does not run. I don't know if this is a gnome or gentoo problem.

The locatedb problem is probably gentoo. The other problem is very
explicity mentioned in the release notes :) Thanks for filing, though.
