Last modified: 2009-08-15 18:40:50 UTC
Description of Problem: Create a new folder in applications:/// - and try to rename it. It doesn't work Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open applications:/// 2. Create a new folder 3. Rename the new folder Actual Results: folder is still named 'untitled folder' Expected Results: the name i typed ? How often does this happen? always Additional Information: same for new launchers except in that case it gives an error message (sorry can't rename bla bla)
Jorgen: 1) Where are your packages coming from? 2) if they are ximian, can you please update to the very latest snaps and test them? I believe this is fixed but the more confirmation the better.
i'm running gentoo using the latest officialy released sources nautilus 2.0.4 gnome-vfs 2.0.2
This is a known bug, then, noted in the release notes for both GNOME2.0.0 and GNOME2.0.1. It'll be fixed in the GNOME2.0.2 releases of these components.
