Description Jared Burns 2002-07-25 18:40:24 UTC
I haven't found a preference anywhere to enable edge-flipping in
Metacity. If this code to support edge-flipping already exists, it
would be nice to have this feature "exposed" on gconf. If it doesn't
yet exist, it would be nice. :)

In case there's any confusion, "edge flipping" is the behavior that
enables switching desktops by moving your cursor to the edge of the
screen. If the pointer is "warped" to the opposite edge of the screen
when the flip occurs, this creates the illusion of pushing the mouse
through the edge of the screen. This is very nice as it creates the
illusion of one large, seamless desktop.

In a nutshell, Havoc's position is 'no edge flipping will be in
metacity.' Sorry about that.
