Description herminio 2002-07-19 14:04:36 UTC
Package: gnome-core
Severity: critical
Version: 1.4.0.4
Synopsis: gpanel Crash on startup
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core
Bugzilla-Component: panel

Description:
My gpanel application sometimes crashes on startup. I think it may be due to abnormal exiting of X. Somehow, gpanel can't recover from it. Then next time I start X and Gnome launches, when it gets to gpanel I get a "Crashed Application error message". I think I've read where this was happening to someone else. I'm running RH Linux 7.2, and whatever Gnome version it comes with.

Cheers,

**** Herminio

Please try the latest gnome-libs and gnome-core.
