Does KDE work ok in the case with resuming? Or just a plain X desktop without GNOME? The crash should be fixed in the latest 1.4.x releases of gnome-libs and gnome-core. Please report if this isn't the case. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 77540 ***
