Description Alan Horkan 2002-06-18 03:47:26 UTC
Dia consistantly crashes if you use the Sheets and Objects dialog
and try and create a New Sheet.

I would give more details but i have repeated it in a variety of different
ways.

I like the Sheet and Objects Dialog it is a great feature.

Seems to only happen if you Apply before adding any shapes.

Reproduction:
Open Sheets & Objects dialog
Press 'New'
Press 'Sheet name' checkbox
Enter name and description (any)
Press 'Ok'
Press 'Apply'

Are there other ways to make it crash on Windows?

Comment 2 Alan Horkan 2002-06-24 18:24:18 UTC
Not even, i get as far as New dialog
select sheet write in a name and a description and it crashes as soon
as i click Ok.

What info do you need?
Comment 3 Alan Horkan 2002-06-24 19:56:18 UTC
Trying to open the Sheets and objects dialog multiple times causes dia
to run out of memory and crash. (need to do it about 3 or 4 times at
least to see the effect)
Comment 4 Kjartan Maraas 2005-01-19 19:15:15 UTC
Is this still there or has it been fixed in later releases?
Comment 5 Alan Horkan 2005-01-19 19:49:10 UTC
Changing OS and componet. This isn't just a Windows problem I can crash Dia
0.92 on Mandrake Linux by Applying an empty Sheet. Bumping the version number
this is targetted against to 0.92.
I'll try and check again with 0.94 sometime soon.

Maybe if were real lucky this will disappear when we move towards instant-apply
as a side effect .

Comment 7 Christian Kirbach 2005-06-04 16:00:43 UTC
I cannot reproduce this with 0.94 on Linux.
