Description Fernando Herrera 2002-06-15 19:14:29 UTC
When your press CONTROL+F and type something to do an interactive search,
application crashes. As we have 5 days to release, I think the best
approach it's to disable interactive search. After release we can fix it
and allow searching. Attached are the backtrace and the patch

Patch to disable search in GtkTreeView

The crash is fixed in CVS but the search still does not appear to do much.
Comment 4 Jody Goldberg 2002-06-16 04:58:50 UTC
I should qualify that.
The search operates on the mime type, I'll patch to search the description for 2.0.1.
However, even then it is fairly useless because it only applies to visible items.
