Description srn 2002-06-14 07:27:37 UTC
I suspect this is a gnome-vfs bug, but I'm not sure.

If I drag a link from galeon to the desktop, then double click on it, it
opens (as text) in nautilus.

So, I went to the desktop preferences->Advanced->File Types and Programs
and added a http handler. When I reopened this preferences thing, the
handler didn't appear anywhere! However, I can see it in
.gnome/application-info/user.applications. Subsequently, the URL on the
desktop is still opened as text in a nautilus window, rather than in the
http handler.

This used to work under 1.4 - am I doing the wrong thing, or is it broken?
