Panel crashes when invoking a launcher

Package: gnome-panel Severity: major Version: 1.4.0.8 Synopsis: Panel crashes when invoking a launcher Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Description: Just after starting a Gnome Ximian session on my laptop RedHat Linux 7.3, when I invoke one of the launchers of the menu bar, panel immediately crashes. When the panel crashes, it restarts again and then, if I invoke the same launcher again, then it works with no problems. I would like to attach a tar-gzipped file of the contents of .gnome/panel.d directory for you to see the configuration of my panels, but I don't know how! This is the same crash as the others. Maybe the content of panel.d will give some clues. Thanks. [Louie, I am on panel-maint and most of the other 1.4.x ones for the core modules]
