GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 82496
Minimising & Maxmising apps via mouse click is confusing
Last modified: 2009-08-15 18:40:50 UTC
Minimising or maximising apps via clicking on the apps icon in the window list is not consistent with previous gnome behavior. Currently if a user selects a minimised app and does a normal mouse click (and hold for a split second) the app is not maximised BUT if a user does a v.quick mouse click (similar to quickly and lightly tapping the mouse button) then the app is maximised. This is the same for minimising apps. NOTE: On gnome1.4 the behaviour was as follows: (1) To maximise a minimised app user just had to do a simple single click on the app in the window list applet. (2) To minimise a maximised app user just had to do a simple double click on the app in the window list. Hope this ain't too confusing....:)
Window list is part of gnome-panel
