Description Evert Verhellen 2002-05-15 17:55:02 UTC
Description of Problem:
[Shift]+[Backspace] doesn't work in the GtkEntry and GtkTextView widgets. I
think it should because this works in Microsoft Windows (e.g. Notepad), the
KDE project and NEdit.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start typing some text in a GtkEntry or GtkTextView widget (e.g. gedit2).
2. Press [Shift]+[Backspace].

Actual Results:
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:
[Shift]+[Backspace] should do the same as [Backspace].

How often does this happen?
Always.

Additional Information:
This would make gtk+ have the same [Shift]+[Backspace] behaviour as
Microsoft Windows (e.g. Notepad), the KDE project and NEdit.

Version Details:
gtk2-2.0.2.0.200205130458-0.snap.ximian.1
