Description Peter Seiderer 2018-08-15 19:32:04 UTC
The files from tests/examples/qt/qmlsink and tests/examples/qt/qmlsrc are missing in the provided gst-plugins-good-1.14.2.tar.xz file (I think the qt subdir is missing in the file tests/examples/Makefile.am).
Comment 1 Nicolas Dufresne (ndufresne) 2018-08-15 20:01:55 UTC
Interesting. So the examples have meson and CMake build system, but no auto-tools. I wonder was the intent. Progrably that CMake is to serve a sexample as using the "qt" build system ?

Anyway, I'm just unsure if we should add Makefile that only add to the distribution list, or if we should also implement autotool build system for it.
Comment 2 Matthew Waters (ystreet00) 2018-08-16 02:21:39 UTC
Autotools is hard to implement for Qt-based projects.
Comment 3 Nicolas Dufresne (ndufresne) 2018-08-16 11:53:39 UTC
Ok, so let's get dist makefile so these are at least included in the tarball for 1.14.3.
Comment 4 Tim-Philipp Müller 2018-08-17 11:11:36 UTC
There are slight differences between 1.14 and master it seems. Anyway:
