Description Nicolas Dufresne (ndufresne) 2018-07-20 01:13:39 UTC
Similar to bug #796772, libgstgl does not work well if there is no wl_shell support. In fact, it crash. I am working on patches.

The compositor:
  weston --shell fullscreen-shell.so

GStreamer:

  gst-play-1.0 somefile --videosink=glimagesink
Comment 1 Nicolas Dufresne (ndufresne) 2018-07-20 01:14:40 UTC
My suggested solution is to make it work headless if there is no shell interface, and to add wl_fullscreen_shell support, because this is trivial.
