GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 792467
Running cmake without setting "-DWITH_PYTHON=ON" fails
Last modified: 2018-06-30 00:03:03 UTC
While helping a user on IRC, he got the following error: 06:21:57 <Totalkrill> CMake Error at common/test-core/CMakeLists.txt:39 (FILE): 06:21:57 <Totalkrill> FILE COPY cannot find 06:21:57 <Totalkrill> "/home/krille/projects/gnucash/common/test-core/unittest_support.py". (https://lists.gnucash.org/logs/2018/01/12.html#T06:21:57) The full IRC conversation starts here: https://lists.gnucash.org/logs/2018/01/12.html#T04:49:06 Adding "-DWITH_PYTHON=ON" gets past this error (although in the conversation the user ran into another issue, which will be reported in a second bug).
I can no longer reproduce this issue today with current unstable https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash/commit/eb1400c44bf8c8f I assume the fixes for make dist solved this. Should this still happen, feel free to reopen this bug.
