Description Curtis Lee Bolin 2017-11-20 15:27:26 UTC
The new features added to the resize a window to half of the screen is drastically hurting my productivity. I put multiple windows layered on top of each other on the left and right. I use middle click on the title bar to lower the window to get to another window to copy some information to put in my text editor.

The first problem is now when I middle click on one the title bar of one window to lower it, both of the windows on the left and right are lowered. This is completely unexpected behavior and very frustrating. I spend too much time searching for the window I need.

The second problem I have absolutely no use for the left and right windows sticking together while resizing left and right. It just makes it more of a pain to lay windows out on my screen the way I want. I now spend too much time making sure the windows don't stick together.

I am not a person that fights change. I am usually very happy with changes in gnome and adapt very quickly. I have tried it for a couple of months now. There is just no way these changes will work for me. It is really slowing my work down.

Please have an easy way to disable this. Maybe something in gnome-tweaks.

I appreciate your time.
