When I take screenshots, the date and time is saved in the filename but not in the metadata of the image file, so simply renaming the file destroys this information.

I want the date and time fields in EoG to not be empty for my screenshots.

It's useful information, even when we are not using JPEG/Exif - at
least nautilus will show it in its image properties.
