Run gtk-demo, go to the text widget demo. Go to the end of the document.
Press ENTER. Move the cursor/caret one line up and a couple of characters
further along the line. Now move the cursor down. The caret on the previous
line is not being erased.

Happens with GTK+ cvs head from a couple of days ago.

Owen, I believe your validate_yrange patch fixed this one as well, at
least I can't reproduce it anymore.
