GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 783432
Create DCP (digital cinema package) demuxer
Last modified: 2018-11-03 14:09:21 UTC
DCP is a package containing compressed video (JPEG 2000), audio (WAV containing uncompressed PCM) and meta-data such as subtitles. Background info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Cinema_Package Discussion from last year with slomo: http://gstreamer-devel.966125.n4.nabble.com/DCP-Streaming-td4679698.html With a DCP demuxer, we could have an open-source DCP player by streaming the DCP to VLC. Currently, there is nothing OSS available for this.
One possible issue: open source tool asdcplib (http://www.cinecert.com/asdcplib/) depends on OpenSSH for crypto, but I have ported it (untested) to Nettle.
