GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 781898
Merge Gnome Settings and Gnome Tweak tool
Last modified: 2017-04-28 13:35:07 UTC
Having two settings apps can be a little bit confusing. It would make much more sense to integrate all settings from the tweak tool in the right categories in the settings app, or all under an 'advanced' category (I prefer the first).
If the settings were something we wanted to offer in the main Settings, then they would be in the main settings, not in a separate application. They are in a separate application because we don't want them in the main Settings. Having separate settings for "advanced" settings is also something that is known not to work. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 694629 ***
