Description Tad Whiteside 2017-04-17 02:52:16 UTC
When attempting to download OFX file from discovercard.com receive 403 forbidden message.

Very similar to the issues described here (starting 2/2017)

http://www.ofxhome.com/ofxforum/viewtopic.php?id=47793

Looks like an order issue with the OFX protocol (probably badly implemented on Discover's end).

Perhaps under the "Special Settings" of the "Application Settings" of the Online Banking Wizard there could be an option to order the headers.

This would have to be addressed by AQBanking (www.aquamaniac.de), a third-party library that GnuCash uses for online banking support. We've contacted the developer about this and after expressing some disbelief that anyone would make the order of the headers significant he said that it would be very difficult to fix it.

Discover will just have to join the very long list of banks and credit cards that don't support OFX Direct Connect. Sorry.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have contacted Discover letting them know of the issue.
