Description Jeremy Bicha 2017-02-20 17:55:47 UTC
gnome-recipes 0.14.2
Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 pre-beta

In the Activities Overview list of apps, 'GNOME Recipes' looks out of place since it's the only GNOME app on my system that has the word 'GNOME' in its title.

Here's one proposal:
Use the Name 'Recipes' in this file
/usr/share/gnome/applications/org.gnome.Recipes.desktop

and continue using 'GNOME Recipes' in this file for non-GNOME:
/usr/share/applications/org.gnome.Recipes.desktop

This will keep the app identified as 'GNOME Recipes' in its About dialog which I think is good.

I'll let you deal with those shenaningans in distro packaging.
But I agree that "Recipes" is a better name, so I've made that
change now.
Comment 2 Jeremy Bicha 2017-02-20 18:23:28 UTC
I only made that suggestion here in case the 'GNOME Recipes' name was intentional.
