I confirm this. Running under gdb I get: run Starting program: /opt/gnome/bin/sol [New Thread 1024 (LWP 2720)] Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. Is this still repeatable?
even if it is repeatable it looks like a guile error, not an aisleriot one. Try updating the scheme/guile interpreter libs, and recompile. Marking NOTGNOME unless it is shown that it happens with the newest guile libs.
