Favorite songs list isn't always inconsistent. It sometimes list 0 songs.

How to reproduce:
1. From songs tab, mark several songs as favorite.
2. Switch to Playlist tab. 

OR If the Favorite songs list many songs:
1. Unmark any of the favorite song


Result: 
The Favorite Songs list 0 songs as favorite.

Expected Result:
The Favorite Songs playlist should list every songs marked as favorite.
